Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Patrimoine mobile application and related services (the "Service"), provided by Event Loop Labs ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Patrimoine is a personal wealth-tracking tool. You manually record the financial holdings you choose, and the Service organises them, fetches market prices and exchange rates, and shows your total net worth across currencies. Patrimoine does not execute trades, move money, or connect to your accounts to transact.
2. Eligibility & your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- Sign-in requires a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure and for the activity under your Patrimoine account.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
3. Subscriptions, trial & billing
- Free trial. New accounts include a 7-day free trial. Some limits (for example a cap on the number of positions) apply during the trial and on paid plans alike.
- Paid subscription. After the trial, continued access to paid features requires a subscription, offered on monthly and annual plans.
- Processing. Subscriptions are sold and billed through Google Play. Your payment is handled by Google under its terms; we never see your card details.
- Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions.
- Price changes. We may change subscription prices; changes apply to future billing periods and, where required, with notice and your consent via Google Play.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by Google Play according to its refund policy and your local consumer-law rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to break, probe, or circumvent its security or integrity checks, reverse-engineer it except where allowed by law, disrupt it, or use it to break any law. We use Google Play Integrity to protect the Service from abuse.
5. Data accuracy & availability
We work to keep the Service accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that market data, valuations, or the Service itself will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. Features may change or be withdrawn as the product evolves.
6. Your data
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we protect it. You can delete your account and data at any time — see Delete your account.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Event Loop Labs. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. The financial data you enter remains yours.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; account-data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that valuations or market data are correct or suitable for any purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Event Loop Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any financial loss arising from decisions made using the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate; continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
